Foreign aid causes debt???

Everybody knows that we are in a recession, even babies have been talking about it on TV, and the United States is facing a huge amount of debt. When you tell somebody about the huge debt, they just yell at you and tell you: "It's because of all these freaking foreigners we help all the time with our money!!!" Actually that is not true, because the United States does not help out that much, foreign aid equals to only a small percentage of the total economy. Usually they "help out" by buying food from farmers noone else wants, in order for farmers to stay in business. That food is then shipped to places where there was either a natural disaster or where regular everyday starving is going on. What this means is that foreign aid does not cause debt, but more the truly American addiction to spend more than we have. So please, stop blaming all the countries receiving your help, because it's not their fault.
